Censorship should not be allowed to compromise a writer's literary creativity and license. The importance of story-telling lies in the importance of self-expression. The strict censorship policies within Ley Resorte restrict almost all creativity and as a result, the entire industry is crumbling. I really appreciate the comparison you make on censorship. For one, it is rather foolish that we cover up seemingly inappropriate messages on the television screen, only to flaunt them in magazines and shopping malls. In a world where communication happens so rapidly and so fluidly, trying to control small portions of the ways we communicate is like trying to slow down and elephant stampede with a stop sign. Things are coming through regardless, messages are exactly what they intend to be, no matter how elegant the edit and the cover.

I'm really glad you bring light to matters at hand. It's funny how images of starving children in advertisements and social campaigns around the world are not disturbing to show our youth. In fact sometimes we take the extra opportunity to remind them. Hey! There are starving children, finish your plate. There are people with less than you, stop complaining. As if exposing children to the disasters of the world could somehow enlighten them more than exposing them to similar sins, like those you previously highlighted.

Maybe changing our attitude to media and communication is the key to resolving how we think and what we think about, and maybe it's also the key to fixing the way we think of each other. I think communication studies is going to grow so much over the next couple of decades simply because of the way we are learning to communicate and disseminate information.

Thanks for this very relatable post, well done!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01181525969441700172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3945963440619724585.post-35915354272429598772015-11-23T11:08:18.271-05:002015-11-23T11:08:18.271-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01181525969441700172noreply@blogger.com
