I liked the point you made about Nina enduring all of the terrible things Carminha does to her but also how she continues playing the game in a sense. You also said that the two women have strong personalities, and when they interact, it's dangerous and dramatic. I'm remembering the scene we watched in class where Carminha spoiled Nina and her son's wedding, and it was honestly a little terrifying! The actress who plays Carminha really is incredibly effective in representing her character's dark side. I can relate to when you said you want to see Nina get revenge, but also you don't want her as the protagonist to stoop down to Carminha's level. It's this fine line between justice being served and being the bigger person. From watching the final moments of the last episode, when they reconcile their differences and share that intimate, emotional hug, the audience really is able to see into the depths of these characters. That is what would intrigue me to watch it: to see the complexity of the relationship and how it's carried out.Maggie Harneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16777376713613012089noreply@blogger.com
